| Περιγραφή Προγράμματος: | After i.p. vaccination of sea bass with the AlphaJect 2000 Vibrio-Pasteurella & AquaVac Vibrio-Pasteurella commercial vaccines that will take place in Cephallonia, the following will be performed: a) collection of mortality data from controls and vaccinated fish for a period of 12 months post-vaccination, b) experimental infections with Vibrio and Photobacterium for the assessment of protection incurred from the vaccines to sea bass, 1.5, 3, 5 and 9 months post-vaccination, c) macroscopic evaluation of the abdominal cavity of fish (presence of non-infectious inflammation)on a monthly basis for 12 months, d) collection of growth data of experimental fish from vaccination till harvest, e) collection of measurements of the physicochemical parameters of water during the whole experimental period and f)collection of serum samples from all experimental groups, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 3, 5 and 6 months post-vaccination for future analysis. The service provider after the completion of the experiments will deliver a final report to the employer that will contain the analysis and assessment of the data and results that will be produced by the aforementioned work (a) to (e). This final report if the final deliverable of the project. |
