| Περιγραφή Προγράμματος: | The Jean Monnet Module “EUinPIL” constitutes a new course offering for the Department of Sociology. It aims at exploring the nature of the European Union as a sui generis international organization, its placement in more traditional structures of public international law and the synergies between the EU and its Member States in the context of their potentially conflicting competencies. The selected case-studies to be covered in the context of the seminar-style course, as well as to be analyzed in a dedicated handbook and 1-day conference, directly affect the everyday life of the European citizen. |
